SB1343 requires all businesses with five or more employees (including part-time, temporary or seasonal) to receive one hour of sexual harassment training for non-management employees; and two hours of training for supervisors, by January 1, 2020, and once every two years thereafter. The Chamber's Respect in the Workplace training meets the mandated requirements specified in the state regulations and will teach participants about the federal and statewide ban on sexual harassment, information and practical guidance on prevention, abusive conduct prevention, corrective action against those who commit harassment, and remedies available to people who experience harassment. The training will also cover harassment based on sexual orientation, gender expression and gender identity, discrimination, retaliation, and abusive conduct.
