Linnea Butler, LMFT, founded Bay Area Mental Health with a vision of bringing together outstanding and passionate therapists to help people who have been through an extreme experience such as childhood trauma leading to PTSD and Complex PTSD, or debilitating depression or anxiety, to calm their intense emotions and build a life worth living well.
Before becoming a therapist, Linnea was a genetics researcher working in Big Pharma and later a marketing executive in biotech. Feeling unfulfilled and disconnected from people, she pursued her LMFT and founded Bay Area Mental Health, located on Winchester Avenue in Campbell.
