Equus Workforce Solutions is the leading provider of workforce development services in North America. As Business Services Lead, Gregory Harris serves as a key member of the operations team, fostering strategic partnerships with employers across key industries in Santa Clara County—Construction, Information Technology, Finance, Healthcare, and Manufacturing—to connect job seekers with meaningful employment opportunities and training pathways under the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
Mr. Harris has over twenty (20) years of corporate manufacturing, production, logistics & operations management experience with several Fortune 100 & 500 companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Dayton Hudson Corporation, The Glidden Company and Proctor & Gamble, In 1986, Mr. Harris served as the Corporate Training Administrator for Johnson & Johnson; Personal Products Division in Sunnyvale California.
Mr. Harris is also a former United States Naval Officer, graduating from the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program at Savannah State University. Mr. Harris is a Qualified Surface Warfare Officer serving on US Navy combatant and auxiliary vessels. During his eight (8) year tour of duty, Mr. Harris served in various roles to include: Engineering Officer (Department Head), Electrical & Electronics Material Officer; Navigator, (Department Head).
